Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Trusted Home Upgrade Pro. These Terms & Conditions explain the general rules that apply when you access our website, contact our team, request information, arrange a consultation, or engage our home improvement services. By using this website or proceeding with a service inquiry, you acknowledge these terms. Individual projects may also be governed by a separate written proposal, estimate, work order, or service agreement containing project-specific requirements.
1. Services & Project Arrangements
Trusted Home Upgrade Pro provides residential renovation, remodeling, design consultation, installation, improvement, and related home services. The availability, scope, and suitability of a particular service may depend on the property, project requirements, location, materials, site conditions, scheduling, and other circumstances. Information displayed on this website is intended to describe our general capabilities and does not constitute a guarantee that every service will be available for every property or project. Specific services, deliverables, pricing, and responsibilities will be established through the applicable project documentation.
2. Website Information & Consultations
Our website is designed to help visitors understand our services and begin a conversation with our team. Descriptions, photographs, examples, project ideas, and other information may be updated as our services and business practices evolve. A website inquiry, telephone conversation, email, or consultation does not automatically create a binding service contract. Work will generally begin only after the relevant project details, scope, pricing, responsibilities, and other applicable terms have been appropriately confirmed.
3. Estimates & Project Pricing
Any estimate, quotation, or preliminary price discussed with you is based on information available at the time it is prepared. Actual project costs may change when measurements are verified, selections are finalized, materials are priced, or concealed conditions are discovered. Existing homes may contain hidden structural, electrical, plumbing, moisture, surface, or installation conditions that cannot reasonably be identified before work begins. Where such circumstances affect the agreed work, additional services, materials, labor, or revised pricing may be necessary and will be addressed through the applicable project process.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to provide information that is accurate and reasonably complete when requesting services. You should communicate known property conditions, access restrictions, preferred project requirements, and other information that could affect planning. You are also responsible for making timely decisions regarding materials, finishes, fixtures, layouts, colors, and other selections when those decisions are required for the project to proceed. Delayed approvals, incomplete information, or repeated changes may affect project timing and costs.
5. Property Access & Work Areas
Clients agree to provide reasonable access to designated areas during agreed working periods. Work areas should be kept clear of unnecessary personal belongings, fragile items, and other objects that could interfere with construction activities. Renovation work can involve tools, equipment, dust, temporary barriers, stored materials, unfinished surfaces, and other ordinary construction conditions. Household members, guests, and pets should remain away from restricted areas whenever work is underway. Reasonable precautions should also be taken to protect personal belongings that are outside the immediate work area.
6. Materials & Product Availability
Project materials, fixtures, appliances, finishes, and other products may be selected according to the approved project scope and client preferences. Product availability can be affected by supplier inventory, manufacturing changes, discontinued products, shipping interruptions, or other circumstances beyond our direct control. If an approved product becomes unavailable, a suitable replacement may be proposed for consideration where practical. Material substitutions, upgraded selections, or client-requested changes may affect the project cost or schedule.
7. Scheduling & Delays
We make reasonable efforts to coordinate work according to the schedule established for a project. However, renovation schedules can change because of weather, inspections, permitting requirements, supplier delays, material shortages, subcontractor availability, delivery problems, concealed property conditions, client decisions, or other events beyond reasonable control. Any projected completion date should therefore be understood as an estimated target unless a separate written agreement specifically provides otherwise. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material scheduling changes when they become known.
8. Project Changes & Additional Work
Changes may occur after a project has been approved. A client may request modifications to layouts, finishes, fixtures, materials, or other aspects of the work. Additional work may also become necessary when existing conditions differ from what was reasonably anticipated. Changes that affect labor, materials, design, procurement, or scheduling may require revised pricing and additional time. Where appropriate, requested changes and additional work should be reviewed and approved before implementation so that the parties have a clear understanding of the revised project expectations.
9. Payments & Project Administration
Deposits, progress payments, balances, payment deadlines, and other financial requirements are established by the applicable project documentation. Clients agree to meet the payment obligations associated with their project. Unpaid amounts may affect procurement, scheduling, continuation of work, or other project administration as permitted by the applicable agreement. If you believe there is an error or have a question about an invoice or payment requirement, please raise the matter promptly so it can be reviewed and addressed.
10. Workmanship & Manufacturer Warranties
Any workmanship commitment provided by Trusted Home Upgrade Pro will be governed by the terms and limitations stated in the applicable project agreement. Products and materials supplied for a project may also be covered by separate manufacturer warranties. Manufacturer warranties are subject to the manufacturer's own conditions, exclusions, registration requirements, maintenance requirements, and procedures. Ordinary wear, improper use, unauthorized alterations, neglect, or conditions unrelated to workmanship may not be covered by a particular warranty.
11. Safety & Property Protection
We take reasonable steps to maintain organized and appropriate work areas during project activities. Construction environments can present temporary hazards that are not present in ordinary residential use. Clients should follow reasonable instructions concerning restricted areas, equipment, unfinished surfaces, utilities, and construction materials. While reasonable care will be used during service activities, clients should take appropriate steps to protect valuables, sensitive belongings, documents, electronics, and other personal property from dust, vibration, movement, or other effects that can accompany renovation work.
12. Third-Party Services
Some projects may require the involvement of independent suppliers, manufacturers, specialty contractors, inspectors, designers, engineers, delivery providers, or other professionals. Their services may be subject to separate terms, schedules, warranties, and responsibilities. Where third-party services form part of a project, Trusted Home Upgrade Pro may coordinate with those providers as appropriate, but matters controlled exclusively by an independent provider may remain subject to that provider's own policies and obligations.
13. Responsible Use of the Website
You agree to use this website lawfully and responsibly. You must not intentionally interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software, misuse forms, submit fraudulent information, impersonate another person, or use the website to distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, misleading, or unrelated to legitimate use of our services. We may restrict or suspend access to website features when reasonably necessary to protect our systems, business operations, users, or third-party interests.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the website's original text, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, layouts, service descriptions, and other creative materials associated with Trusted Home Upgrade Pro are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Viewing our website does not transfer ownership of these materials to you. You may access the website for personal and legitimate informational purposes, but you should not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit protected content without appropriate authorization.
15. Cancellations & Project Interruptions
Requests to cancel, postpone, or pause a project should be communicated as soon as reasonably possible. Depending on the stage of a project, materials may have already been ordered, labor may have been scheduled, or preparatory work may have been completed. Applicable cancellation costs, credits, outstanding balances, or other consequences will be determined according to the relevant project agreement and the circumstances of the request. A project interruption may also require revised scheduling before work can resume.
16. Limitation of Responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trusted Home Upgrade Pro' responsibilities concerning a specific project are governed by the applicable written agreement. We are not responsible for circumstances outside our reasonable control, including certain delays caused by weather, suppliers, governmental requirements, hidden property conditions, utility interruptions, or client-requested modifications. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
17. Resolving Questions & Concerns
If you have a question about an estimate, schedule, material, project requirement, invoice, workmanship concern, or another aspect of our services, we encourage you to contact us promptly. Providing relevant details and supporting information can help our team understand the situation and determine the appropriate response. Project-specific disputes or concerns may be handled according to the procedures established in the applicable written agreement.
18. Updates to These Terms
Trusted Home Upgrade Pro may revise these Terms & Conditions when our services, website features, business practices, or applicable requirements change. Updated terms may be posted on this website with a revised date. The terms applicable to an existing project may continue to be governed by the project documentation accepted for that project unless that documentation states otherwise. By continuing to use the website after an update is posted, you acknowledge the revised website terms.
